On vinyl for the first time, the 2006 debut full length from Vancouver’s SHEARING PINX, “Poison Hands”, was originally released as a 2x3" CDr on Not Not Fun and CD on Gilgongo. This collection of songs still sounds fresh, with aspects of Unwound, Huggy Bear, Sleetmute Nightmute and Sonic Youth – the material is abrasive and challenging but at the same time, not really all that rough on the ears (if you’ve trained them well enough).
